Team training day at Playful Paths! ☀️

Today we spent the day diving deeper into Rhythmic Movement Training (RMTi) — a powerful approach that supports the brain-body connection through simple, developmentally based movements.

Rhythmic movements are gentle, repetitive patterns that mimic the natural movements babies make early in life. These movements help integrate primitive reflexes and support the nervous system so the brain and body can work together more smoothly.

We use rhythmic movement to support:
• sensory regulation
• coordination and motor planning
• attention and focus
• emotional regulation
• feeding and oral motor skills
• overall nervous system organization

The best part? Many of these simple movements can be easily shared with parents and practiced at home, helping support children’s development beyond the therapy room.

We love continuing to learn so we can better support the amazing kids and families we serve. 💙

Spring Break is the perfect time for kids to move, explore, and grow through play! Join us for our Spring Into Play Camp, where children will enjoy a fun-filled morning of sensory-rich activities designed to support regulation, motor skills, creativity, and confidence.

At Playful Paths Pediatric Therapy, play is powerful — and this special camp will include:

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant | COTA/L

Kendra loves helping kids grow through play, movement, and meaningful connection. At Playful Paths, she works with children on:

🧠 Sensory regulation
✋ Fine & gross motor skills
🎒 School readiness
💪 Independence with daily skills

She graduated from Keiser University in Orlando and is currently working toward her Master’s in Occupational Therapy.

With 8 years of experience across healthcare settings, Kendra found her true passion in pediatrics — helping children overcome challenges while supporting families every step of the way.
