Okay real talk: I’m not about to tell you to take 47 different supplements 🙄
But these? These are the non-negotiables I recommend to almost every postpartum woman or mama dealing with hormone imbalances, gut issues, and that bone-deep exhaustion that won’t quit.
Sorry, not sorry that they aren’t even supplements—they’re just things we should be doing but keep putting at the bottom of the list (guilty 🙋♀️)
Like:
☀️ Getting outside in actual sunlight for natural vitamin D (your mood + hormones will thank you)
😴 Morning + evening light exposure for better sleep and cortisol regulation
🧘♀️ 5 minutes of doing absolutely nothing for nervous system healing
🩸 Starting meals with protein for blood sugar balance (less hangry mom = balanced hormones)
🍽️ Actually sitting down to eat mindfully without scrolling (your gut health is begging you)
⚡ Moving your body throughout the day for metabolism support (not talking about a workout—just MOVING)
Here’s the thing that nobody tells you:
You should not be living on supplements forever. Root-cause health is about REAL LIFE—holistic, food-first, lifestyle changes that actually support your body’s ability to heal itself.
Supplements? They have their place for therapeutic purposes when you need that extra support. But they’re meant to be SHORT-TERM helpers, not lifelong crutches.
Your body doesn’t need another band-aid. It needs the foundational stuff—the sleep, the food, the movement, the nervous system regulation—that actually lets healing happen.
Because you can take all the “right” supplements for thyroid support, adrenal health, or hormone balance, but if your nervous system is fried, your gut microbiome is a mess, and you’re running on fumes…
Nothing’s gonna stick.
Your body needs the FOUNDATIONS first. Then we can talk about what targeted supplementation will actually help YOUR specific postpartum or mom concerns (and for how long).
Because cookie-cutter protocols for maternal health? Not it.
Save this for when you need the reminder that healing doesn’t need to be complicated—just intentional 💚
