What an incredible week 🀩 I’m sad it’s over! My first indoor market, three-day-long market and first time at (a truly amazing venue) and it couldn’t have gone better.

Also the first time in a while I’ve spent this much time away from my girlie and I missed her every second but thankful for my husband and parents for taking care of her while mama was workin πŸ’ž

I made the whole fruit collection last month anticipating another placement and I’m so glad that I did! I only needed to finish a few more pairs of these earrings with baby here, which was only possible with my husband watching her for 4-5 hours.

It’s impossible to make earrings quickly πŸ˜‚ it’s seriously such. a. process.

Going from being a married couple with a childless home to caring for foster babies overnight has been quite a transition (and so is the reverse, honestly). Bringing a 4lb preemie home from the NICU has certainly been the biggest challenge so far!

It’s also been so incredible to just witness this baby girl’s strength. She’s gaining weight like a champ and shows so much (sassy) personality already. She is small but mighty. πŸ˜†

My sister just happened to be here for a couple of weeks in between her nursing assignments. I can’t even imagine adjusting to our new routine (full of dr appts, bio family visits, case worker visits) without her here. She was basically our in-home maid πŸ˜† β€” doing dishes, cleaning bottles, bringing me my yogurt breakfast every morning, making meals, feeding our animals, doing laundry, and taking care of everything I couldn’t get to. Without us asking for any of it! And of course, cuddling baby girl. πŸ’ž

Foster care would just be impossible without the support. We’re so thankful for ours!
