Dry needling and massage can be game-changers for tight upper traps. They help release trigger points, improve blood flow, and reduce muscle tension, giving you immediate relief from stiffness, headaches, and limited shoulder movement.

But the real win is keeping them from getting tight again:
▪️Fix your posture, especially if you sit or lift a lot
▪️Strengthen mid and lower traps to take pressure off the uppers
▪️Stay mobile with regular stretching and movement
▪️Manage stress, because tension often starts in the mind before it hits your traps

Think of dry needling and massage as the reset, then build the habits that keep your traps and shoulders performing at their best.💪

Consider adding in lateral moves, like lateral sled pulls, to strengthen your obliques, ankles, and coordination. Which will translate into becoming a more well-rounded athlete.
