Proper prep when restoring your leather:
We always ensure to prep the leather prior to using our products for best success. It’s important to remove all debris with a vacuum or shop vac, wash the surface clean with water and dawn dishsoap(the blue one with the bird on the bottle) to remove dirt and any wax residue that would prevent the leather from being conditioned. After the first wash we always use a toothbrush to clean all edges, stitching and any perforated leather. Once the surface is fully clean we use our restoration serum to nourish and bring life back into the leather, with seats like the ones shown above we recommend multiple treatments of the serum to allow the oils to soak into the leather. These seats above are all pictures documenting the cleaning process and the result of one serum treatment. We definitely find that when dealing with worn seats multiple serum treatments and a final treatment of the conditioning balm offers the best desire success. The first two seats shown happen to be a set of very rare original E30 M3 BMW seats which you can see are benefiting from the effects of the serum.

Our leather conditioning balm is the other half to our restoration process when it comes to restoring leather that has been neglected. This balm is 100% natural and has nourishing and conditioning ingredients that also have UV protection benefits. It offers a protective conditioning to the leather and when used with the serum is the second part of the restoration process. The birth of Abbey Road Restoration Products began with this serum. After finding every product used on restoring our 1965 Lincoln Continental convertible failed, it was time to solve this problem. The serum base and agents have natural anti microbial properties and truly nourish and condition the leather.
