Living as a Lupus warrior with a very busy life, I have to find time to pause because if I don’t, I go into a very bad flare. I am talking joint pain, swelling, fever, and more. SAUNA & WELLBEING ’sbreakfastbar 🍔 for long periods of time can be difficult for people with lupus who experience joint pain, and it can also increase the risk of blood clots. Here are some tips for managing joint pain while flying: Take breaks: Get up and move around frequently during the flight, especially when the seatbelt sign is off. You can also try simple exercises like ankle circles and knee lifts

* Stay hydrated: Dehydration can make joint pain worse, so drink plenty of water
* Use supportive cushions: Bring a small cushion or inflatable pillow to support your neck and lower back. 
* Prepare a pain toolkit: Include your go-to remedies, such as anti-inflammatory medications, compression gloves, topical creams, and heat and cold packs.
