Dr. Phil is my absolute hero🩷. I've watched him since Oprah. Not only did he help me tremendously with my sobriety, but also with raising my two daughters as a single mom. His common sense and humor has gotten me through so much. My all-time favorite quote from him is, "You can't fall off the floor!" I would give anything to meet him, have a conversation with him and thank him!

Welcome to my page! I am 11+ years sober from a very long alcohol addiction. I want to help others find sobriety and stay sober. What does sober mean? Well, I think it means different things to different people. For me, it's about a mindset. And I'm not talking about willpower. Sure, I don't physically drink alcohol anymore, so I guess that qualifies me as sober. But for me, it's about emotional sobriety. And if you don't know what that means, it's about freeing yourself from being controlled by your emotional state — no matter how happy or sad you get, you’re able to cope. It's about living with life on life's terms. Emotional sobriety gave me the ability to be content in everyday life. And I'm happy with content. Because being content is real and it's enough for me. When all of the self-medicating goes away, it's time to work on yourself. And it's always evolving. Sometimes it's even fun, lol. And I want that for you, too. What does sober mean to you?
