Please join Broadview Multicare Center in celebrating our August resident of the month, Grover Lynn. Grover has been with us for under a year, but has become a big part of our community. Grover was born in Fayette, Alabama, and has 3 children. He is a devout man of faith, becoming a pastor in 1999 and sharing the word of God ever since. Grover has many friends at Broadview and participates in Broadview café, socials, resident council, religious services, and special events. We are excited to announce that Grover has begun his own religious service at the facility titled "Old Time Religion". His goal is to continue to bring people together, and we are excited to see his efforts in place.

Broadview Multi-Care welcomed our neighbors from Seven Hills, Parma, Independence, Brooklyn Heights, and the ALZ Association. We were proud to welcome Dr Swarnalatha Meyyazhagan, Geriatrician from the Alzheimer's Association Cleveland, and community activist, Tom Strong, Medical Lecturer. Broadview hosted a Lunch-in for Caregivers taking care of loved ones with Alzheimer's. Our neighboring communities learned about the latest research, care strategies, and how to support those living with Alzheimer's and their families. Coming together to raise awareness strengthens our community!

Broadview MultiCare is happy to present our July resident of the month: Cathy Bodison. Cathy is originally from South Carolina but moved to Ohio and has been a resident with us for 7 years. Cathy loves helping out throughout the facility and participates or leads numerous activities. She is a big advocate for resident education and is often helping other resident's learn new things. Cathy has made a lot of friends during her stay here and brings joy to our building with her presence. In her free time Cathy enjoys practicing her faith, cooking, and gardening. We are thankful to have her as a member of our family. Please join us in celebrating Cathy.

We are thrilled to have Dr. Ogbogu working with our team. He brings a plethora of experience and knowledge that greatly helps improve our resident's quality of life. He and his team provide pain management and timely solutions to meet resident needs. We are thankful for his partnership.

We are so thankful to our Administrator, Cody for bringing in his sweet golden retriever, Knox to Broadview! Not only does Knox bring smiles to all those around him ... he's also quite productive in the office! Cheers to the dog days of summer!

Our June Resident of the Month is: Reggie Darden
A Cleveland native, Reggie was born and raised right here in northeast Ohio. Reggie graduated from East Tech High School and has 3 sisters and 2 brothers. A man of various careers Reggie now enjoys spending his days doing arts and crafts. His projects are used to help brighten up the facility and the days of other residents. An avid coffee drinker, Reggie can always be found socializing in our morning coffee gathering.

Recently, Reggie was able to attend the zoo as a part of a volunteer trip with KeyBank, Neighbors Make a Difference. During that Trip he got to see his favorite animal, the tiger. His excitement brought a great energy to the trip, and he helped make it fun for all. We are thankful to have him as a part of our family.

The magnitude of Broadview's nursing staff and home as a whole was celebrated throughout May! Broadview's love and appreciation was shown to staff and residents through scrumptious snacks, words of praise, games & prizes, and an all-staff cookout DJ'd by our Director of Nursing, Fabian! People are STILL talking about the magnificent macaroni salad that was served!

Broadview Resident Testimonial! We are grateful for our staff here at Broadview.

"... My second heart and vascular surgery left me unable to walk and barely talk ... I wasn't sure I'd walk again. Your therapists are a key element of me writing this letter of gratitude. Special thanks to Ms. Ester who got me to walk from my bed to the door in my room. One year later, Ms. Ester helped me to walk from the second floor to the third floor with a walker ... I am so forever grateful. To name a few nurses, Nurse Barb & Nurse Rebecca managed my medication with comforting words. The activity staff (Ms. Kim, Alexis, & Ms. Debbie) are very fun people that kept this journey of mine eventful with BINGO, cooking class, and movie night. Ms. Moria helped me with my discharge plan to my assisted living apartment. I'm thankful for the aides cleaning my room very well and getting me the things I needed; the laundry personnel for clean clothes; and kitchen staff for wonderful meals. Special mentions to Ms. Erin going out of her way helping me with important paperwork! And receptionist, Ms. Theresa - so helpful with my front desk needs, greeting me and helping with all kinds of facility information. I've been blessed by my stay here ... very grateful & thankful!"
