As we move into 2026, my heart is filled with gratitude. 2025 was a busy and truly blessed year, and I missed the opportunity to share this accomplishment. In 2025, our program was once again recognized by Ohio Business Magazine, receiving the Ohio Success Award for the fourth time. This honor is more than an award, it reflects perseverance, faith, and a mission that continues to move forward despite challenges.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, believed in, and stood with us over the years. This recognition belongs to all of you. Because of your continued support, we are stepping into 2026 encouraged, grateful, and ready to do even greater work❤️‍🔥

A Second Home for You and Little Adventurers Academy came together to bring a little Christmas joy 🎄⛄️ to these amazing children at Orchard Park Academy and in return, they surprised us the very same day with heartfelt thank-you letters that meant a lot❤️‍🔥

Today, A Second Home for You and Little Adventurers Academy came together in a heartfelt collaboration to support the 6th graders at Orchard Park Academy. Witnessing the joy, excitement, and genuine smiles on the students’ faces reminded us why this work matters so much. It was more than an event, it was a moment of connection, encouragement, and community. We truly had a great time pouring into these young scholars and look forward to many more opportunities to serve together❤️‍🔥

This scholarship was created from a place of love, legacy, and lived inspiration. Years ago, I met Dr. Charleyse S. Pratt at my church, Mount Zion of Oakwood. I never imagining that one day I would have the honor of working with her through my employment while she served at Cleveland State University. Over time, our relationship grew into a friendship built on deep respect.

What stayed with me most was her powerful greeting to students in the Sullivan-Deckard Scholarship, a message filled with belief, dignity, and hope. When Dr. Pratt went home to be with God in 2017, her son Jarrett Pratt courageously stepped in to continue her legacy. Watching him carry forward her heart for students, while adding his own compassion, moved me deeply.

Every time I heard that Scholar's Creed, it sent chills through me, it reminded me that words, when rooted in love, can change lives. That moment, and that legacy, inspired me to create this for my scholarship. This is my way of honoring her spirit and passing forward belief to those we serve❤️‍🔥

Friday night, we had the pleasure of showing our support for this incredible young man and his school. The talent, dedication, and excellence on display made us all proud. Great job to everyone, you truly represented your school and community well.
