Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing and well being. Reiki is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the premise that an unseen "life force energy" flows through all of us and activates innate powers that exist in all scient beings to foster physical, mental, spiritual and emotional growth. While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion.
