Blue Bear, here, to tell the world the collection of Rainbow Daisy Pocket Purses is finished! Each Pocket purse is handmade with each daisy stitched on with loving care. While our online store isn't running yet we will be selling our Daisy Pocket Purses at area craft shows and county fairs. Stay tuned for updates to our event. All Daisy Picket Purses are $65 online. However they are sold at a reduced price at the events we attend.

It's 2025! A time to start a new chapter in life and a new brand in business. Honestly, with everything that has been happening in the world and in my life, I had to take a step back and seriously consider what I wanted to do with Blue Bear Creations. Do I want to continue combining my crocheting with my other crafts, or do I want to focus on the craft I have come to love? I'm doing a little bit of both. For now, I am focusing on the crocheting aspect...specially making bags. All kinds of bags. Tote bags, handbags, purses, clutches, backpacks, small duffels, and any kind of bag that can be obsessed over by the masses.
I do plan on making jewelry and other items. However, that will be for a different page and a different set of social media accounts. But for now...

Who is Blue Bear?

Hello. My name is Susan. I started a small “crafting” company in March, 2016, mainly to start making some money to supplement income. I’m good at crochet, good at making jewelry, and pretty good at coming up with ideas of things to make for people to use. Went through a lot of names for my company, but they didn’t sound right. It was an issue to come up with a name people would remember.

Then one day, my two kids were helping my sister purge some of her old things from childhood. They came upon Blue Bear. Blue Bear is an old bear my mother received as a gift in high school for Christmas from one of her high school friends. She never got rid of him because there was something about him that was special. After she had her three daughters (I’m the oldest), she gave him to us. I ended up laying claim to him in the end, but all three of us loved dressing him up, and even had an eye replaced so he could see properly.

My kids played with him for awhile, and still do any time I bring him out. His bright, sky blue has faded, and he had to undergo major back surgery at one point so his stuffing would stay in. He is a special stuffed bear that could be considered an antique if he would let me. When I saw him again a name for my company hit me - Blue Bear Creations. I like it. It fit what I wanted to do.

So that’s how I came up with Blue Bear Creations. Everyone likes it. You definitely remember the bright, sky blue bear with a red nose on all the price tags and the business cards. So when you think of Blue Bear Creations, always remember that there really is a Blue Bear who wants to make you happy with creations as unique as you. Have a great day!
