“You can’t get upset about the results you aren’t getting from the work you’re not putting in”-Selena Samuela

I heard this quote during my workout this morning. And I had to stop and write it down. Think about what it says, are you putting in the work with your nutrition, sleep, non-exercise activity, and workouts?

How consistent are you in the above things? Remember you don’t have to be perfect. Consistency over time is what is going to give you results.

I recommend to my clients to start your day off with 25-30g of protein and some higher fiber/higher volume veggies. Doing so helps you feel fuller longer and gives you a great start towards hitting your protein goal so you aren’t struggling to get it in at the end of the day. This is over 30g of protein and 150ish grams of veggies. If you have lower deficit macros 🙋🏻‍♀️this meal comes in at under 250 kcal and if very filling.

Next week opens their own dance, fitness and wellness space! I am so excited to be teaching fitness classes at this amazing new venue.
I have been dancing with CDP since season 2 and because of them I have met and danced with so many people who have become friends and mentors.
Because of my involvement with CDP I have had the opportunity to dance at the Cavs game and perform at the Browns Monday Night Football game last year (still can’t get over dancing in front of 70k people).
This photo is one of my favorite pieces, choreographed by and it shows how much JOY 💃🏻😀
CDP has brought to my life!

I am proud to call myself a runner. Running does not come easy to me, as a matter of fact in high school I couldn’t even finish a 15 minute mile. I took up running a few years ago as a way to get my workout in outside. I wound up loving it!! Who knew??? If you are new to running these tips may help you. I have learned so may things the past few years about fueling properly, how to increase pace and distance, and how to recover.
