World Vegan Day, celebrated on November 1st each year, is all about being kind to animals, helping the planet, and making healthy choices by not using animal products. People celebrate by sharing ideas about eating plant-based foods, like fruits, veggies, and grains, instead of anything that comes from animals.
I’m not vegan, and I’m not against eating meat, but I think it’s important to be mindful about it. Eating contests and challenges like ‘finish this 20-pound steak’ (no one needs to eat 20 lbs of ANYTHING) feel wasteful and disrespectful. Choosing food with care and appreciation makes a difference
