Hospice of the Western Reserve partnered with Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter to host a special series of conversations with residents and their families. Together, we explored Alzheimer’s, dementia, palliative care and end-of-life care. We are grateful to our partners for joining us in providing this meaningful educational series. 💜

Friendly Express on US Rt. 250 in Ashland turned every gallon of gas into a gift of care this summer! By donating 10 cents from each gallon sold in June, owner Larry Kane and his dedicated staff raised $2,100 for Hospice of the Western Reserve.

Lake County Seniors gathered for Senior Day at Lake Farmpark and enjoyed health screenings, educational demonstrations, and the chance to meet plenty of friendly farm animals. Hospice of the Western Reserve was honored to sponsor this meaningful event that brought our community together.

Our amazing Ashtabula volunteers, along with their friends and family, joined together to support Feed the Hope! In just 3.5 hours, more than 400 people packaged 250,000 meal packets that will go directly to food pantries across Ashtabula County. 💙 We are proud to be part of a community that shows up to fight hunger and care for neighbors in need.

We were honored to share the healing benefits of Reiki with our community. With the help of Christopher Bunner, RMT, a practitioner with more than 40 years of experience, we hosted programs at the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County and the Station Break Senior Center.

It’s been one year since we broke ground on the new Hospice Care & Community Center — a place where comfort and connection come together.

This center is designed to blend compassionate end-of-life care with gathering spaces that welcome the broader community for education, grief support and celebration of life programs. What began as a vision is now becoming a place where dignity, healing, and hope will live and thrive.
