Excited to receive my updated Diplomate certificate from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

I completed my 10 year renewal commemorating the 10 year anniversary of passing the oral certifying exam & obtaining board certification.

The case of the not so simple maxillary thirds.
Typically when I see a consult for a patient who only developed maxillary third molars - teeth 1 &16 - it’s a breath of fresh air. Why? Because typically these are what I call “rollers”. But not this case….

Today’s pro tip: I used a purchase point to remove the relatively high and buccally oriented maxillary third molars.
Not something I do often but a good tool to have in your toolbox in these situations.
