Iβve been a chiropractor for 25+ years, and I donβt say this oftenβ¦
1. Staff come and go. Some have been disloyal, some just werenβt the right fit, but through it all, Jilian has been one of the most steady, supportive parts of this practice. That kind of loyalty matters more than people know.
2. I donβt take personal credit for anyoneβs healing. But when someone is dealing with complex, lingering pain, it does sit heavy on me because I care deeply about people not having to live in that space longer than necessary.
3. Iβve learned over the years how to block out outside noise from people who donβt understand this level of care. When youβve spent decades studying the body, you also learn how many opinions come from zero clinical understanding.
4. Iβm extremely aware of my own body all the time. In this line of work, my hands, my health, my energy, this is my livelihood. I have to protect it like itβs everythingβ¦ because it is.
5. From the outside, it can look simple. What isnβt visible is what it actually takes to keep a practice going, constant pressure, overhead, major expenses, and the reality that everyone else gets paid before I do.
And still, I love what I do. Even on the hard days. Because helping people move better, feel better, and get their lives back⦠that part never gets old.
