OMG soooooo many cookies. Lol. They are turning out so cute though. I am making em for my shop tomorrow and for the peeps at the auto shops that I like the best. Lol. I'll post some pics when they are done. I found edible powder in gold, silver, green and red and everything is so sparkly 😍😍😍😍

Per the oldest spawns request, a Facebook photo of the lasagna I made for dinner tonight. LOL. She asked me to post it because she thought it was so pretty. LOL. And Ruby said I was the best! Win win!

How fitting to have this realization on the eve of Thanksgiving.

I am going to start trying to retrain my brain to focus on being thankful for what I have instead of ruminate on the things I don't. I know that sounds like common sense. It is. But when life keeps pushing your head underwater while you are already drowning, it gets hard to remember to do that. Trauma is awful but repeatedly enduring many kinds of trauma in short periods of time rewires our brains to prepare for the worst and when you have no time to process anything the grief waves take over without warning from all sides. More waves and less time to breathe. You can get lost in it.

Something happened tonight that reminded me of what I still have. It might not be what I thought it would look like or as much as I want or think I deserve (and probably do in some areas). But I am blessed and I need to remember it and anytime those thoughts come in just repeat those blessings over and over again. Cling to him like a life raft.

I have not had time to watch the video yet but this song has been on repeat this morning.

Some of these artists release their music and it hits home so hard and you feel some sort of release when you understand you aren't alone and someone else has the ability to put into words the storm in your soul.

NF, Ekoh and Ronnie Radke have a way of taking the torture and spinning spirals in their minds and put in on paper and deliver it with music that ignites your spirit and reminds you that this s**t is temporary. That we all suffer at some points in our life. That the path is not linear and stumbles are normal and common.

If you feel you can't go on, do it anyway....
