✨Behind the Smile: Meet Amy Laramie, CRNA✨

Amy is the calming presence behind countless comfortable dental visits. With over two decades of experience in anesthesia, she’s dedicated to keeping our patients safe, relaxed, and fear-free during their treatment. 💙

After earning her BSN from Michigan State University, Amy spent 6 years caring for patients in Neuro ICU, CCU, and ER settings before completing her Master of Science in Anesthesia at the University of Detroit Mercy in 1998. 🎓🩺

She founded Professional Sedation in 2012, and today, her team of 8 CRNAs and several RNs work exclusively in dental offices — helping thousands of patients feel at ease in the chair. 🦷😌

Outside the office, Amy’s passions are just as impressive: gardening, beekeeping, crocheting, traveling, and making memories with her teenage son, Nicholas. 🌿🐝🧶✈️

We’re grateful for Amy’s steady hands, kind heart, and the peace of mind she brings to every patient experience. 💫

With 23 years of experience in dentistry, Alison brings not only skill but heart to our team. She grew up in St. Clair Shores and earned her Associate's in Applied Science from Baker College before becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist.🎓📌

Alison is known for her gentle care, playful spirit, and a deep love for connecting with the beautiful souls that walk through our doors.🗣💬

Her favorite dental tool? The air/water syringe — because it’s just plain fun to use! She’s a kid at heart, and it shows in the joy she brings to her work every day.💦

Outside the office, Alison loves traveling with her family, treasure hunting at estate sales and thrift stores, fishing in the summer, and hibernating in the winter with a good book and a heated blanket.🎣📖

🦷 Help us give a warm welcome to the newest addition to our dental family — Dr. Janith Jayatilake!

Dr. Janith Jayatilake grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Human Biology from the Lyman Briggs College at Michigan State University, then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2024. He completed an advanced General Practice Residency at the John Dingell VA Medical Center, where he provided comprehensive dental care to veterans, focusing on restorative, surgical, and prosthodontic procedures, as well as interdisciplinary, team-based care.

Dr. Jayatilake is passionate about organized dentistry and has held several leadership roles, including President of the Detroit Mercy chapter of the American Student Dental Association, as well as Vice President of his dental school class. He remains actively involved with the Michigan Dental Association as a LEAD program participant and a member of the Committee on the New Dentist.

Dr. Jayatilake is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while continuing to pursue lifelong learning and professional growth. Outside of dentistry, Janith enjoys golfing, running, hiking, traveling and spending time with family.
