We recently celebrated two very special residents and the wonderful years they represent.

🎈 Helen Tucker rang in 86 years surrounded by our cheerful team who sang her Happy Birthday, surprised her with a thoughtful gift, and topped it all off with a cupcake made just for her.

🎉 Bernie Glennon celebrated an incredible 89 years with her own big birthday cupcake, along with a sweet jewelry box and teddy bear to mark the occasion.

Moments like these—full of smiles, songs, and small surprises—are what make birthdays feel truly special here. 💙

A day out filled with stories, laughter, and shared memories. 💙🏛️
Our residents from Morning Pointe of Clinton enjoyed a meaningful outing through downtown Knoxville, including a visit to the beautiful Tennessee Theatre and the East Tennessee History Center. Along the way, Margaret, Margie, and Jim shared memories from childhood, swapped stories about growing up as preachers’ kids, and enjoyed a stroll through the city they know so well.

At the museum, conversations turned nostalgic as soda shops, music, and family memories sparked smiles all around. Jim loved sharing stories about his grandson’s musical talents—and even the piano they crafted together—while Margaret delighted in talking about her admiration for Dolly Parton and growing up in a big family herself. Moments like these remind us that connection, conversation, and curiosity never fade.

We’re Happy About Hobbies here in Clinton—and our I Am Art program is all about celebrating what makes each person them. 🎨💙
This new experience invites residents to paint, sculpt, write, and reflect on their own stories, with a special focus on favorite hobbies, passions, and personal victories. The conversations are just as meaningful as the art.

Margaret loves to stay active through dancing and chair yoga.
Erna was on a high school swim team and still enjoys swimming whenever she can.
John finds peace in nature, especially while going for walks and bird watching.
Shannon enjoys quiet time in the garden, prayer, and creating beautiful flower arrangements.

For National Buffet Day, we enjoyed a special outing to The Golden Oak Buffet, where we shared a delicious Chinese meal and even better conversation. From favorite dishes — Margaret and Jim had theirs picked out — to stories about the foods they grew up with, the afternoon was filled with smiles, laughter, and new friendships. Of course, fortune cookies were shared and read aloud, sparking even more great conversations around the table.
