The soda fountain hums as milkshakes, banana splits, and thick malts are spun the old way, right at the counter. You can grab a booth with friends or claim a chrome stool and watch it all happen in front of you.

The grill turns out country-fried steak, catfish, burgers, and hot dogs, along with daily plate lunches stacked with vegetables and warm cornbread. Mornings are just as big, with biscuits, gravy, eggs, and other made-to-order breakfast plates drawing a steady crowd of regulars. From 1925, R.C. (Dudley) Hoskins Handbook of “Chemistry and Physics”. He graduated from the University of Tennessee and was accepted to pharmacy school in Memphis.

95 years later, his work ethic and love for his community is being carried on by his daughters, granddaughters, and great granddaughters.
