Alisa Sparks, CPA I am a Certified Public Accountant specializing in bookkeeping and tax preparation, providing busine I went, and I loved it!

Back in high school, one of my math teachers encouraged me to go to an accounting seminar at a community college. But, I also loved the idea of becoming a Chiropractor, and follow in my father's footsteps (and my step-mom, aunt, grandma, etc...). After struggling with dissecting the dead cat in anatomy, I finally found my way back to accounting. After spending a lot of time managing other people's offices, I finally started my own, offering bookkeeping services. I got my business degree from CSU Monterey Bay and the experience required to sit for the CPA exam. Passed that brutal exam on the first try, thanks to my husband and two sons praying around the building for me (I think they missed my cooking!). I love accounting, but I wanted to do more to help people. That's when I decided to do workshops to help business owners who really want to do their own bookkeeping to be successful.
