Last night at our community we had our Friends-Giving, Thanksgiving Dinner. Where friends and family came together to have a wonderful holiday dinner prepared by our Chef Natcha and her staff. Today, we were delighted to welcome North Broward Prep School to our community. Sixty-four of the most adorable kindergarteners filled our morning with bright smiles, sweet songs, and joyful little dances that truly lifted everyone’s spirits. Yesterday was an unforgettable day at our community! We welcomed our wonderful friends from Happ-Go-Lucky, along with Jacey Birch, Channel 10’s Animal Advocate and investigative reporter, who joined us to highlight the incredible impact pet therapy has on our residents. Our furry companions—Chance, Amigo, Brody, and Rolex—filled the day with laughter, comfort, and pure joy. Moments like these remind us just how powerful the love of an animal can be for those living in a memory care community.

Yesterday, we enjoyed a heartwarming visit from our friends at the Humane Society. SueMarie and Sadie, along with LauraJean and Pepper, brought so many smiles to our community. Little Sadie was a happy bundle of energy, and sweet Pepper melted everyone’s hearts. Moments like these remind us how special the connection is between our residents and their animal friends.

Yesterday, Brock (CRD), myself, and our families proudly joined the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. It was a beautiful day filled with hope, love, and support as we walked for our community and for everyone affected by this disease. 💜 Brock and Naomi brought along their adorable new puppy, who quickly became the star of the walk—such a good little walker and a big hit with everyone! Our residents have been talking about visiting Chicken Salad Chick in Coral Springs, so we made it happen! We were warmly welcomed by the manager, Dalton, whose kindness made everyone feel right at home. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and wonderful memories shared over lunch. The “Fancy Nancy” and “Classic Carole” sandwiches were the big hits of the day — a delicious outing that sparked joy and connection for all.
