I've been substitute teaching in high schools for the last few years. This last year a teacher asked for a cane holder for one student. Turns out the student needed a cane for balance. If it was necessary to pick up the cane off of the floor it was possible to pass out while bending over! Glad to provide a solution!

I was at the classic grad party. Folks were sitting down to eat and my friend at the table had a walking cane. He sat down carefully and moved the cane back and forth. He was pleased when I shared the Cane Companion with him. "It sure is difficult to pick the cane up off of the floor!"
