Updated blood pressure guidelines developed by the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American College of Cardiology (ACC) highlight the importance of knowing your numbers at every age, even for those without symptoms. Texas A&M employees and covered spouses enrolled in the A&M Care health plan have access to the following on-campus, no-cost resources to help stay informed and proactive about heart health:

Free, quick, and confidential exams that also count as the wellness exam for the Texas A&M System Two-Step Wellness Incentive Program.

Continue monitoring your blood pressure with Hello Heart, a no-cost benefit for eligible members enrolled in the A&M Care or J plans.

With Hello Heart, you get:

- Support from the Hello Heart team
- A free blood pressure monitor that syncs to your smartphone

What to Expect:
- Friendly team competitions
- Medals for overall champion, most spirited, best team name, and best dressed team
- A chance to cheer on your colleagues in the great outdoors

Form a team of 8 to 10 full-time, benefits-eligible employees, and each member must participate in at least one activity. Only the first 42 teams to register are eligible to participate!
