The season is off to a high-energy start for Collingswood High School Wrestling—and the action isn’t just happening on the mat!

Coach Dechlin Moody sums it up best: building a close-knit wrestling family, keeping things fun, and pushing athletes outside their comfort zones helps build confidence that carries far beyond competition. With creative workouts, the team is working harder than they realize—and loving it.

🏃‍♂️ Team Traditions We Love:

Philly Bridge Run: Ringing in the New Year by running across the Benjamin Franklin Bridge and visiting the Rocky Statue 🥊

🎄 Christmas Tree Run: A five-mile run around town carrying a Christmas tree—a cherished Christmas Eve tradition

🎳 Bowling Night Showdown: Top six varsity wrestlers vs. five coaches. Total pins win… losers run home from the alley! (Coaches remain undefeated at 16–0 👀)

From teamwork to tradition, this program is building strong athletes and even stronger bonds.

Collingswood’s very own indie soul artist Tara Hendricks recently dropped her holiday EP “Wonderland”—and she celebrated in style with a festive concert & vinyl release at Soundplex Studios in Pennsauken! 🥳🎄

Pressed on red vinyl for the first time ever, the EP features a live band with Philly heavy-hitters: Brandon Mullen on drums, Doug DeHays on sax, Collingswood’s Matt Cappy on trumpet, plus horn arrangements by Nick Lombardelli. 🎷🎺

Bonus highlight? Tara’s 6-year-old daughter joined her onstage for an a ca****la performance that melted hearts! 💖👩‍👧
