Therapy with a professional can be an important part of healing after a su***de loss, but it’s not always available for all of us for a variety of reasons. But sometimes what soothes the heart most is simply talking with a trusted friend or loved one - someone who listens without judgement and just sits with you in your pain. Both are valuable and reaching for either is a step towards healing. Simple human connection can be very powerful.

Both kinds of support matter. Healing doesn’t have to happen in an office—it can happen in a quiet conversation, a shared memory, or even just sitting together in silence. ❤️
