Dr Roberson will now be in the clinic five days a week. We are open for you, our established trusted friends, and we are also open for your friends as new patients. Dr. Roberson has 25 years experience as a Family Medicine specialist, MD. He has extensive training and experience in women’s health and has delivered over 300 babies in his career. He has over 2 years experience working in an Emergency Room. He also has 5 years experience as an EMT, and has trained many para-medics.

Dr. Roberson loves to read and study all aspects of medicine in order provide the most academically sound medical advice available for his patients.

In order to meet your needs, we also have a new Physicians Assistant to double appointments available for you and offer you more “same day” appointment options. His name is Bryan Wogan PA.

We are so happy to be able to have more appointments available in order to welcome you into our warm family centered clinic so that you do not have to squeeze into an cold urgent care climate.

Surprise Findings in Study of Identical Twins with Discordant BMIs

In a recent study by Dr Nordstrom, Sweden, found that obesity increased the risk of Diabetes, but did not increase the risk of Heart Disease or early death. Interesting study done, comparing identical twins, with one obese and one normal weight.
If you are not overweight, you still have risk for Heart Disease. Pay attention to those things that you can control. Do not smoke ci******es. Keep moving. Walk or Exercise 30-40 minutes a day to start, then increase as you tolerate more.

CDC Press Releases

Deaths associated with hepatitis C reached an all-time high of 19,659 in 2014, according to new surveillance data released today by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

A second CDC study, published online today in Clinical Infectious Diseases, shows that annual hepatitis C-related mortality in 2013 surpassed the total combined number of deaths from 60 other infectious diseases reported to CDC, including HIV, pneumococcal disease, and tuberculosis. Further, both studies use data from death certificates, which often underreport hepatitis C, so there likely were even more hepatitis C-related deaths than these numbers suggest.
