I cannot say enough about how much I appreciated Dr.Carr, and the tech my husband and I worked with when we brought our beloved 2 year old dog in last Friday. I am a technician, but taking a little break from the vet clinic setting. My dog, started to rapidly decline very quickly, and my regular vet in woodland park could not fit me in. I had called all over town asking someone to see my dog, as he needed to be put down, and he didn't have any more treatment options. We had exhausted everything in our power and were extremely broken hearted as we rescued him 6 months ago from being put down. The receptionist immediately offered to fit me in. I was so skeptical coming in that they wouldn't understand the severity of what was going on with our dog. As a technician I know what it sounds like when you come in with a 2 year old dog, discussing euthanasia . The technician was immediately extremely understanding, and thoroughly went through all that we had done to help him thus far, to make sure we had exhausted our options while also keeping our dogs well being, and quality of life in mind. I was even more pleasantly surprised when Dr. Carr came in, and was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and truly understood how much it took for us to come to this decision with " Bandit". As someone who works in this field, I truly have not met a Dr. or technician that were this personable, understanding, and truly saw our hearts and intentions as soon as we walked in the door. I had begun to get a bit discouraged working in this field , with how many horrible experiences working in different practices I have had. These guys truly made me remember why I am in this field in the first place. Although, I don't know the practice dynamics behind the scenes, you could tell that their patient/client care was at the forefront. You guys are the type of people that make this field worth staying in. Thankyou for doing your job to the fullest !!!!
I wanted to say thank you to Dr Puryear and staff for the special care of my dogs over many years. Dr Puryear is my hero. Even though he couldn't save Chloe today, he showed empathy and concern. He is very knowledgeable and I would trust him with my own life.

I wanted to share a tribute to Chloe. Thank you for everything!

PetSites looks awesome!

Do you recommend a dog DNA kit? Ashton's new trainer thinks he's GSD/Malinois cross.
When you posted you got Brittany back I couldn't remember who she was. She took care of Madison today and when she brought her out it clicked. YEA we really like her!!! Thanks you guys for always caring for our kids.
Fluffy Muniz didn't come home on the afternoon of Christmas eve. He is chipped and well loved. Please keep an eye out for him. Can I bring a flyer to your office later today?

To Our Valued Faithful Friends Family:

It is with a mix of excitement and sadness that we announce & wish our co-owner and Hospital Manager, Pamela Puryear, a fond farewell in her retirement (as of 2-11-22). Pam has served along side Dr. Puryear for over 25 years. Her dedication to our clients and their Faithful Friend(s) is second to none and she will be greatly missed. While she will miss her FFAH family, she is looking forward to the gift of time with her family and begin new adventures! In anticipation of her retirement Pam and Dr. Puryear have the privilege of mentoring Katie Vella, who most of you know, to assume as Faithful Friends’ new hospital manager. She will continue to provide top quality service to you and your family! Thank you, Pam, for your commitment to our FFAH families all these years and we wish you the best of luck on your next chapter.
