With the rising number of homeless families, our friends at Partners in Housing have been working tirelessly to help those get back on their feet. Last year, out of 134 families that were helped, 94% of them were led by single mothers. It's important to continue to share and educate our community to better combat and work together towards the solutions we need.

May is Mental Health Month 💚! Its purpose is to help eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness by raising awareness. Sometimes simply talking about it is a way to help support someone, whether it’s ourselves or someone close to us.
This is what support looks like! Thank you to those who continue to help us through the [In]Rich Art Program. Donations help us serve our clients, giving them more tools and the freedom express their creativity 🎨
As a part of the Affordable Housing Collaborative Group, Homeward Pikes Peak works with others in the community to find creative solutions for the Colorado Springs affordable housing challenges. We are looking forward to the opening of The Commons to assist in this effort.
Colorado Springs needs more housing that more people can afford. These groups have some ideas on how to do it Some new ideas include using tax rebates to spur new development and keep rents low so Colorado Springs doesn't lose workers essential to making the city tick: teachers, firefighters, police officers and others.
It is graduation season and we are celebrating too! These amazing individuals graduated from our Project Detour and Harbor House Recovery programs. They put in the work, made the appointments, and most importantly invested in themselves. We are so proud of them!
Aren't these wildflowers beautiful? It's not everyday, we get to play in the dirt but thanks to our partner, Gather Mountain Blooms, for giving our clients the opportunity to enjoy nature and learn how to garden last week!

We love hearing what our clients have to say about our Case Managers and Social Workers, and it gives us joy!
It's Social Work Month and we are recognizing the hard work of our organization’s social workers. To name just a few of the many great things our staff does, we advocate for all and everyone in our community who are dealing with social injustice, homelessness, addiction, and more. While each case is different, we always take the time to assess the client’s needs and challenges to make sure we bring the best support, care, education, and resources in order to help set them up for success.
