General information
History:
Cannabis Therapeutics began as an organization built by individuals that did not yield satisfactory relief from conventional therapies. When CTs founders first met they realized their visions were the same; to provide the educational and physical resources to others suffering as they once had, to legally grow and ingest medicine that could reduce their symptomology, provide equal or greater relief with fewer side effects, and to be more cost-effective than prescription drugs.
Prior to ever opening its doors, CT began an extensive investigation into every aspect of medical care, relevant state and federal law, and patient needs. CT members traveled to California to speak with dozens of dispensary owners on their successes and failures. They spoke with leading attorneys around the states of California and Colorado. Soon the founders developed communications with leading medical ma*****na researchers and doctors. Interviews were given with individual patients as well as attending discussions at numerous support groups across the state. CT was finally born.
By the time CT had opened its doors, a firm foundation had been set in the community. Paying local, state, and federal taxes, CT offers 90% of its products at just above cost to 20% of its client base considered indigent (Medicare/Medicaid). Another 30% of all profits from CT are donated to Genovations, a medical ma*****na laboratory under the direction of a private board consisting of numerous PHDs and medical professionals. In this respect, CT is not so much a business as it is a symbiotic network of patients in need.
Our Motto:
Cannabis Therapeutics is a professional medical business that employs all its policies and regulations to ensure the most stringent adherence to the law. Second in importance to legality is implementation of standardizing techniques to ensure both repeatability in dosaging and quality of medicine. Cannabis Therapeutics does not support the smoking of ma*****na unless it is the only route of administration in which that individual patient finds relief. Instead, CT chooses to offer legal patients the means to use their own medicine via other routes, including vaporizing, lotions, balms, tablets, drinks, and sub-lingual drop forms, to name only a few. Cannabis Therapeutics recognizes that ma*****na is medicine and as such, needs to be respected and treated as any pharmaceutical would. With this in mind, CT promotes consistent, timed dosaging that should only ever be used under the supervision of a primary physician.
