What a fantastic kickoff to our new Dining with the Stars program! Our residents were treated to a special Elvis performance first, brought to life by our very own server, Matthew 🕺🎤. The smiles, singing along, and energy in the room made it truly unforgettable. Following the show, residents enjoyed their dinner with an Elvis-style twist. From music to meals, it was a night full of memories, laughter, and great food. We can’t wait to do it again — more stars coming soon! 👑🍽️🎶

Please join us in welcoming Carnethia “Nicky” Champion, our new Director of Health & Wellness at Brandywine Colts Neck!

Nicky brings a unique and inspiring background to her role. She began her healthcare journey in pharmaceutical research after becoming a Medical Assistant, EKG Technician, and Phlebotomist. Encouraged by physicians, and undeterred by being told she was “too old,” she enrolled in a vocational nursing program the very same day. She earned her RN in 2019 and has continued to grow ever since.

Her passion for dementia and Alzheimer’s care is deeply personal, inspired by her grandfather’s experience with a traumatic brain injury and early-onset dementia. Nicky is committed to learning, growing, and providing the highest level of care to residents and families.

Raised in an Army family and a former Army Reserve member herself, Nicky brings discipline, resilience, and heart to everything she does. Outside of work, she’s a self-proclaimed nerd who loves sharing random facts and tends a mini orchard at home, if she eats it, she’ll try to grow it!

Nicky is excited to begin this new chapter at Brandywine Colts Neck and looks forward to getting to know the community and team.

As we celebrate this holiday season, we’re reminded that the heart of Monarch is the people who make our communities feel like home. From our dedicated team members to our residents and their families, each person plays an important role in creating environments rooted in care, connection, and belonging.

Please join us in welcoming Justin Zimmerman, CALA, CADDCT, CDP, PAC Coach, to Brandywine Reflections at Colts Neck as our new Associate Executive Director.

Justin is passionate about supporting individuals living with dementia and the families who love them. He believes the best care is built through strong relationships, active listening, and leading with compassion. Justin enjoys working closely with team members and families, sharing practical support and ideas that help everyday moments feel more comfortable and meaningful.

He has a special love for incorporating music into the community, recognizing its powerful ability to connect people and bring joy.

Outside of work, Justin enjoys songwriting, playing music, and serving in his local church.

He is grateful for the opportunity to join the Colts Neck community and looks forward to getting to know residents, families, and team members.
