Twenty years ago this week, I walked away from my 16-year federal career as a senior executive—with no other job lined up—just a deep knowing that my soul needed something more aligned, more whole, more peaceful.

That one leap changed everything.

I didn’t know at the time where the path would lead… just that I couldn’t ignore the quiet voice within any longer. Since then, I’ve built a life around what matters most to me—love, presence, family, purpose, and being of service in a deeply authentic way.

✨In A Place of Love & Light, I share how each of us carries a spark of divine connection within us. One of the ways I’ve been called to express that truth is through drawing Spirit Portraits — a blending of art and spirit that reminds us of the love that continues beyond what we can see.

Last Sunday at the Illuminate Festival in Columbia, MD, I had the joy of presenting a Spirit Portrait Demonstration Workshop. 🎨✨ Standing in that space, sharing this work, and witnessing the connections that unfolded was a living reflection of the message in my book: that love and light are always with us.

I’m so grateful to Judy, the visionary behind the Illuminate Festivals, pictured with me here. Not only does she create spaces where healing, creativity, and connection can shine, but she also generously sponsors my Highly Intuitive Kids efforts and supports all of my work in the world. She truly is an amazing person💛

National Book Lovers Day may have been yesterday, but love for books — and the people who support them — is worth celebrating every day. 📚💛

Last night, surrounded by friends I’ve cherished for 40 years, they surprised me with the sweetest gesture — holding up my book for a photo.

It was a beautiful reminder that the most meaningful stories are the ones we live together… and how grateful I am for the love, encouragement, and friendship that have carried me through every chapter of life."
