Mental Health

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re centering healing in community.

Because healing doesn’t happen alone.

We show up for Black women and non binary individuals not just in moments of crisis, but in the everyday through care, connection, and access to the support they deserve.

At The Loveland Foundation, we believe that mental health is a right, not a privilege. Our work is rooted in expanding access to therapy and resources that affirm, protect, and uplift Black women and nonbinary individuals.

Behind every need is a story. A life. A community that deserves to be held with intention and care.
Join us in supporting that work. Donate, share, and help us continue building spaces where healing is possible together.

Mental Health Reminders

Mental health is just as important as physical health.
Not just something to agree with… something to actually practice.

Taking care of your mental health can look like:
• setting boundaries
• asking for support
• taking breaks without guilt
• checking in with yourself, even on the “good” days

It's okay to put yourself first. Taking care of your mental health isn't selfish, it's necessary. 💙

If you need someone to talk to, you can always call or text the 988 Lifeline or chat with a caring counselor online at 988lifeline.org. You don't have to go through this alone.

I know it gets hard but you got to keep going 💪

Your mental health struggles are not character flaws. They are things that are happening TO you, not things that define your worth. You are still worthy of all the good things.
