We will gather down by the river, underneath the Carolina sun, to imagine and craft our own divination casting systems. Charm casting is an ancient form of divination that assigns individual meanings to each charm. These charms give insights into our situations based on how they fall onto the mat when thrown.

I don’t add sugar into my collard greens but I like to tap on the bowl and let its sound hum and maybe that’s like adding sweetness to it. And ain’t sweetness medicine? If I can I’m

Through exploring herbs through my senses, I learn that licorice encourages you to accept sweetness when it might be hard to do so. As a cancer moon, Pisces suns I’m always searching for things that helps the emotion and moods. I never would have thought licorice could be used for depression until I sat with it and learn from it. Do you work with licorice? What has it taught you?

I think that creating self care rituals like journaling is a powerful tool to connect and keep it real with yo self. It is also secretly a way to connect with your ancestors b/c you are them and they are you.
