⭐ All promotions in the Army are special, but when both spouses serve, the moment carries even greater meaning. ⭐

This past Friday, SPC Anna Lohure was promoted and pinned by her husband, SSG Gary Lohure of the 120th AG Battalion, along with their children. The ceremony highlighted not just her personal achievement, but also the dedication and resilience it takes for dual-military couples to balance mission, career growth, and raising a family.

Dual-military promotions are a reminder of the strength found in teamwork — both at home and in uniform. These milestones reflect not only individual success, but the commitment of families who serve together.

We are proud to celebrate SPC Lohure’s promotion and the service of the Lohure family. Please join us in congratulating them on this wonderful accomplishment!

HAPPY 80th ANNIVERSARY of VJ DAY! (Victory over Japan Day and an end to WWII)

On September 2, 1945, aboard the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay, General Douglas MacArthur accepted Japan’s formal surrender, bringing an end to World War II. His words that day marked both the conclusion of years of sacrifice and the beginning of a new pursuit for lasting peace.
