6 years ago, we were all shocked to find out Jen’s kidneys were only functioning at about 15%. She needed a new kidney ASAP. By the grace of God, Jen’s mom was a perfect match, and on June 26, 2015 she became her donor and was able to give Jen the incredible gift of life, once again.
Fast forward to today, and at just 39 years old, Jen is in need of her second kidney transplant. While we all had hopes that her mom’s kidney would last for many, many years to come, sadly that wasn’t the case. Many of her close friends and family have been tested but we are yet to find a match. Jen is on the national kidney transplant list, but the expected wait time is upwards of 5+ years. Our hope and prayer is that an incredibly kind person will step forward and be a live donor for Jen, giving her, once again, the precious gift of life. Jen needs a kidney from someone with the blood type of A or 0, positive or negative. If you are not sure what your blood type is, but you are interested in being her donor, please be tested!
Jen is the epitome of kind, loving and accepting of everyone. She pours her heart and soul into animal rescue, and most of the time puts her own health on the back burner for it. Jen would give the shirt off her back to anyone. Her heart is pure gold; she is selfless, giving and always there when you need her. Now she needs us. We are asking you, please, to consider being tested so that jen can continue to live a healthy, fulfilling life. If you are unsure, or have questions, please let me know, and we can walk you through it. This is safe, proven, and most importantly, life saving.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!
