Celebrating 5 years Basecamp Recovery Center!

To celebrate Basecamp Recovery Center’s 5-Year Anniversary, our team came together for a day of connection, great food, fun games, meaningful recognition, and inspirational speakers.

We marked this milestone by honoring the five core values that guide us every day: Love, Community, Consistency, Honesty, and Hope.

This anniversary is more than just marking five years of service—it’s a celebration of the dedication, resilience, and impact of our staff, patients, and community. Together, we’ve built something truly meaningful… and this is only the beginning. 💙

Ahead of Overdose Awareness Day, we were honored to have Franklin County Sheriff Dallas Baldwin join our August Island Party. Sheriff Baldwin shared information about jail programs that support recovery and the importance of working together, because as he stated, "it truly takes a village."

We also heard powerful personal stories from two speakers, reminding our community that our team not only supports, but truly understands the challenges of addiction.

A special thank you also to Dr. Nate Overmire, Franklin County Coroner, for taking the time to come out and meet with all of us. Our "Village" shares one mission: to save lives.

As we mark this milestone, we also celebrate the milestones of the patients whose lives have been changed, whose stories inspire us, and whose futures shine bright. Recovery is a personal journey, uniquely shaped by the individual who walks it. In a powerful group activity, patients used symbolic art to express their experiences, offering a window into their inner thoughts and emotions. Through creativity, they shared strength, resilience, and hope as they continue moving closer toward a healthier future. Our Basecamp team had the privilege of sharing information about the disease of addiction and treatment during a luncheon with our partner team at Madison Health. Understanding how this disease affects individuals is essential to providing compassionate and effective care. We’re deeply grateful for our partnership with Madison Health and the opportunity to grow it further.
