Hard to believe it’s been 20 years.

I’ll sitting in Mr. Shields’ room, during my senior year. Someone called the room. He picked it up, said “What? You’re kidding…” and hung up. He walked over to the TV, turned on NBC, told us class was over, and walked back to his desk. In the confusion, we all sat and tried to understand what was happening. A few minutes later, we all watched the second plane hit.

Thank you to all those who serve, and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. It’s a debt we can truly never repay.
