TRICARE Overseas: How to Get Care Abroad

Living or traveling overseas? Make sure you know how to access care at military hospitals and clinics.

🔹 Check your TRICARE status and plan before you travel or move
🔹 Choose the right plan (Prime Overseas, Select Overseas, etc.)
🔹 Schedule appointments through your PCM or International SOS
🔹 For urgent or emergency care, go to the nearest facility immediately

Most care at military facilities has no out-of-pocket cost. If you see a civilian provider, you may need to pay upfront and file for reimbursement through International SOS.

Holiday Throwback with Sgt. Suggles in Wiesbaden

Earlier this holiday season, Sgt. Suggles spent some time with our team at JANZ Medical Supply Wiesbaden, spreading cheer and enjoying the festive atmosphere in the city.

During his visit, he explored the Wiesbaden Christmas Market, rode the carousel, and warmed up with a traditional cup of Glühwein while admiring the beautiful holiday lights. He even stopped by one of Germany’s famous cuckoo clocks.

Sgt. Suggles also made friends with our neighbors at the PX mall and met a few new furry companions along the way.

After a wonderful visit, Sgt. Suggles continued on his next adventure — but not before taking a few souvenirs and a handmade German pretzel for the road.

While Sgt. Snuggles was in Ansbach, he proudly promoted wellness during our in-store Discount Sale, helping spread the word about 25% OFF savings.

He also demonstrated the nebulizer, showing how easy and effective it is for respiratory care.

During his visit, Sgt. Snuggles stopped by our clinic to meet the team and support our mission of caring for service members and their families.

To top it all off, he flew in a CH-47, enjoying a scenic night flight over Ansbach and the surrounding areas — proving that even after a long day of promoting wellness, adventure is always part of the mission.
