BuckeyeThon Ohio State's largest student-run philanthropy that raises funds year-round for the fight against pediatric cancer. We have raised over $15.1 million to date!

BuckeyeThon is Ohio State's largest student-run philanthropy. BuckeyeThon raises money year-round for the Hematology,Oncology, & Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As Central Ohio's Children's Miracle Network Hospital, Nationwide Children's treats all children regardless of the family's ability to pay. BuckeyeThon hosts signature events throughout the year, such as

the BuckeyeThon BBQ, Runway Rally, and the annual Dance Marathon celebrating our year of fundraising. In the 2023-2024 school year, BuckeyeThon raised $560, 032.34! Over the 22 years of its existence, BuckeyeThon has raised to over $14.3 million for the kids at Nationwide Children's Hospital.

We believe that every kid deserves to be whatever they want-doctors, singers, baseball players. Thousands of children are diagnosed with cancer or blood disorders every year, yet only 4% of federal funding goes towards pediatric cancer research 😯.
