Today we honor the heroes among us: our First Responders.

Police officers, firefighters, EMTs and paramedics show incredible bravery every day, often under intense stress. Let’s also remember the importance of supporting their mental health and well-being.

October is Depression and Mental Health Screening Month. Just like physical health, mental health requires regular check-ins. Screenings are a quick and effective way to recognize symptoms early and connect with the right support.

If you’ve been feeling persistently sad, fatigued or withdrawn, consider talking with a professional. Reaching out can be the first step to healing. Call or walk-in today.

How you start your morning can shape the rest of your day. Intentional mornings don’t have to be long or complicated. Just a few minutes of calm before the routine or busyness of the day can make a big difference for your mental health.

Whether it’s opening up to a trusted friend, chatting with a family member or reaching out to a mental health professional, expressing what’s on your mind can bring relief, clarity and connection. You might be surprised how much better you feel just by putting your thoughts into words. It’s okay to ask for support. You are not alone.

During Hispanic Heritage Month, we celebrate the rich culture and contributions of the Hispanic and Latinx community.

We also take this time to shine a light on an important topic of mental health in the Hispanic community. While mental health challenges affect all people, cultural stigma, lack of access and language barriers can make it harder for many in this community to seek help.

We’re here to change that. We believe in care that is compassionate, culturally sensitive and accessible to everyone. If you or a loved one is struggling, know, help is here.

This National Recovery Month, we honor the strength of those in recovery from mental health and substance use challenges and the families, providers and communities who walk beside them. We believe recovery is possible for everyone. Whether you're just beginning or well along your journey, you are not alone. We’re here to support you every step of the way.
