Last week, I met with this gentleman and what a pleasure it was! On top of the wonderful fellowship, breaking bread, and the great time we spent catching up, I didn’t even have to cover my lunch! The treat was on him 👍🏾😊! Benjamin is a graduate of our program; Destiny Center for Recovery and is as close to an ideal role model as you can get! By the grace of God and his commitment to following directions, he celebrates 13+ years of freedom from any mind or mood altering substance! For me, what makes that so humbling but yet astounding is the fact that Destiny Center for Recovery became the last house on the block for him. Since completing our program, he has not found it necessary to go back to that old life of degradation! Today, Benjamin is experiencing a much better life! He’s gotten married and he and his wife are the parents of 3 beautiful children. He and a business partner own and operate an exterior home renovation company called Armor Exterior Solutions, which he describes as a company that focuses on customer service and quality craftsmanship. He has been blessed to purchase 2 homes, the 2nd being a new build. He expresses to me joy, peace and contentment and all of these things have been afforded to him by God’s grace, recovery and his willingness to follow directions! I couldn’t be prouder of this gentleman. I tip my hat and say to you Benjamin, Kudos Sir!
