Self love isn’t selfish — it’s foundational to your overall health. When you practice self love, you’re not just “being nice” to yourself. You’re actively supporting your nervous system, hormones, digestion, immune system, and mental health. Chronic stress, burnout, poor sleep, blood sugar swings, and inflammation often start when we consistently put ourselves last.
Self love is how the body feels safe enough to heal.
In honor of Valentine’s Day tomorrow, try a few of these simple ways to support self love (that actually move the needle):
💕Eat to nourish, not punish
💕Speak to yourself the way you would a close friend
💕Set boundaries without over-explaining
💕Get enough rest — even when it feels unproductive
💕Move your body in ways that feel supportive, not depleting
💕Check in with your body daily: What do I need today?
Self love isn’t bubble baths and perfection. It’s consistency, compassion, and choosing yourself — even in small ways. Your body is always listening.
