What a day! Thank you so much NASW Ohio Chapter for all of your hard work in making Advocacy Day a success. Next year, we invite as many social workers and social work students from Region 2 to come out, learn about the importance of advocacy, and try something new. As NASW Ohio Executive Director Danielle Smith stated today, we are not afraid to complete assessments so we shouldn’t be afraid to speak with our legislators on concerns they may not fully understand. Advocacy is the heart of what we do💚💙

NASW Ohio Region 2 celebrated Social Work Month today at Painting with a Twist Cleveland - North Olmsted and connected outside of the office and refilled their own cups for a day of fun, good music, and a little art therapy. We uplift, defend, and transform the families we serve and today we did the same for each other and the profession. Please get out of the office and join us at our next event. Special thank you to our wonderful instructor, April and her team who helped make this event possible 💙💚
