My heart!! ❤️
My sweet Jude, my first born, my baby boy is turning 9 today and I don’t think I’m on with it! 😭

This little boy is something special! He is my little rock, my helper, my sweet tender hearted, wicked smart, uber competitive, amazing son!

He made me a Mommy first and he has helped me in so many ways become better and understand what unconditional love truly means.

He loves the Lord so fiercely ready, that he encourages me everyday in my own faith.

I’m going to lose it when he turns double digits!
I love watching him grow and become the very special little boy God created, but I mourn for how fast its going, and how inadequate I feel at being a good mom.

Jude, you are so special to us and those who know and love you! Keep growing, keep learning, and keep loving Jesus!

My sweet, sweet Isla….
God knew I needed you, and you are His grace gift to me. That is why I named you Isla Grace…

To remind me of His goodness and His amazing love that knows us far greater than we could ever fathom. His thoughts and His ways are so much higher than your own. He knows what we need, more importantly WHO we need in our lives, and you my sweet daughter are an example of that truth!

8 months getting to know you and love you has been the greatest gift. You are far more important than you could ever understand.

I did not deserve you, and yet here you are ❤️💕

8 months has gone by incredibly fast, and I’m trying to enjoy and hold onto your little hand as much as possible. Slow down a bit little one 😉 your Mommy wants to keep you little for a tad bit longer 😊

HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY to our sweet Ronan James! ❤️

I can not imagine life without you, my full of life, Little Buddy! You make us laugh like no one else! You love to dance, sing, and pretend to be any superhero, ninja, or pirate that you can come up with! You are rough and tough but at the same time you have such a soft side. You tell Mommy all the time that you are going to marry me because I’m the most beautiful girl you know 😍😍😍

You bring so much fun into our lives, and I can not wait to see what God has planned for you!

13 months in with our Aoife Belle and it’s flying by!!!

Im learning so much about her personality every day, like…

She absolutely LOVES being outside!
All the dirt, all the water, all the grass, leaves, rocks, sticks EVERYTHING 🍃

She out eats her brothers combined!

She is silly, loves to wrestle with her big brothers, knows what she wants and KNOWS how to tell you when you don’t get it right the first time 😬😬

She is a mover and a shaker, is just NOW sleeping through the night (🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻) and doesn’t seem to want to slow down anytime soon 🥰

We love her fiercely and can’t imagine our family without our Aoife Belle 🍀

Friends, to tell you that I have over 1,500 images of Aoife since the day she was born on my "good camera" (as those who see me lugging around my professional camera around would say lol) is NOT an exageration! But THIS one, this photograph is the one that brings me to tears every single time I see it.
This is what true child like love really looks like. Even though I am not in this photo, my entire world is captured in it. These precious and beautiful children, that I do not deserve, hold every ounce of my heart along with them.

You see today is the day that this precious baby girl of ours was brought into this world, one year ago (at 3:27 am to be exact). And our lives have all been better for it!

These brothers of hers love her so fiercely, and it has been the biggest blessing seeing them welcome their baby sister with open and loving arms! I often find myself just staring at them at the kitchen table during breakfast time, in awe that these amazing children are mine.

Aoife Belle, you are the blessing God knew we needed and you are every bit sweet, crazy, funny, smart, stubborn, loud, beautiful, loving, full of life and we thank God almighty for brining you into our family!

Happy 1st Birthday my sweet baby girl, we have so much to celebrate and so much to look forward to as we watch you grow!

15 years ago today I married my high school sweetheart and my lifelong best friend. We were so young but felt more than ready to start our life together!

With three young kids, the likely hood of doing something “special” for this anniversary seemed completely off the table…
And then, I got a surprising email in January that I knew was God’s way of sending us a little extra love this year ❤️

We had the opportunity to be photographed by one of my most idolized photographers, . He is one that I have admired for both his incredible artwork and his genuine care and heart for people. I’ve followed his work for over a decade now (since the beginning of my photography career) and I knew that this opportunity was truly once in a lifetime! (Some of Jeremy’s clients have included Carrie Underwood, Lauren Daigle, One Republic, Emma Stone, and Taylor Swift to name just a few!)

Because Doug loves me and knows my heart so well, when I brought up the idea of us traveling to Franklin, TN to Jeremy’s studio, he jumped on board!

And so, just a week ago, we made our way from Columbus to Tennessee, and for a brief but surreal 60 seconds Doug and I were able to leave the titles “Mommy” and “Daddy” behind and just be “Us” once more in front of camera.

Being parents is so sacred and our three beautiful children are each a perfect and precious gift from the Father, but I pray we never forget the love that brought us together and holds our hearts as one.

Happy 15th Anniversary my love!
May God continue to bless our marriage, our children, and our future!

Today’s the day I became a Mommy for the very first time, just 7 years ago 😭🥰💖

Jude Douglas, you are a joy I couldn’t imagine! You are so sweet, super competitive, compassionate, thoughtful, the very best big brother, smarter than most adults I know 😂, can play a mean game of checkers, a ferocious reader, and know the most random facts about animals, space, the body, you name it! I’m pretty sure you should be on Jeopardy one day 😂

Thank you for making me a Mommy and for loving me more than I deserve ❤️💖

So you realize that Jesus bridged the “gap?”

Before His death and resurrection (Easter) we as “Gentiles” had absolutely no way to enter into the covenants that God had made with Abraham and David and Moses. We were complete “outsiders” with NO HOPE, and NO INHERITANCE.

But then Jesus!

Because of this holiday that we call Easter, because of the redemption work that Jesus completed on the cross and with His empty grave, anyone who believes in the son of God is now grafted into the family tree of Abraham and the covenant blessings that God promised now belong to US as well!! Not because of who we are but it’s all because of who Jesus is!

We celebrate Easter because yes our sins are now forever forgiven, but also because we have been brought NEAR TO THE LIVING GOD because of the blood of Jesus!

This is our heritage, this is our inheritance. This is why my family celebrates the resurrection of our Lord and Savior! We are forever part of the inheritance of God because of Jesus Christ ❤️

In Christ you now have HOPE, in Him you now have a heritage and an inheritance, in Him you have a Heavenly Father.

Nine Months with this little lady ❤️

To be honest it’s been one big sleep deprived, precious, and crazy time!

Aoife quickly approaching her first steps as she is getting braver and braver pulling herself up! Has four going on five teeth already 😳 and LOVES to eat real food!!

Praying these last few months before we hit a year bring us a bit more sleep and LOTS more snuggles and laughs ❤️
