Charitable Healthcare Network is proud to recognize Good Neighbor House in Dayton as the 2025 Free Clinic of the Year. For more than 30 years, Good Neighbor House has empowered healthier communities by providing accessible medical, dental, and vision care, counseling, nutrition support, physical therapy, a pharmacy program, and a community food pantry for uninsured and underserved neighbors.​

Over the past year, Good Neighbor House expanded its dental services by adding a second dentist, increasing capacity by 50 percent, reducing wait times, and even building crowns on site so patients with transportation barriers can complete care in fewer visits. Its medical clinic continues to offer primary care and free prescriptions, ensuring patients do not have to choose between medication and basic needs like housing or food.​

Guided by values of trust, inclusion, innovation, and compassion, Good Neighbor House is closing gaps in care and restoring hope for thousands of patients each year. Please join in congratulating Good Neighbor House on being named Free Clinic of the Year.

Charitable Healthcare Network is proud to honor Joshua Pearson, PharmD, RPh, as the 2025 Free Clinic Pharmacist of the Year for his exceptional leadership at Health Partners Free Clinic in Troy, Ohio.​

As Director of Pharmacy Services and Clinical Pharmacist, Josh oversees medication safety, procurement, and patient education, dispensing over 13,000 prescriptions at no cost to more than 700 uninsured and underinsured patients in Miami County and beyond. He has implemented digital systems for consent and verification, optimized formulary management to reduce waste, and ensured compliance while using donated medications for chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and mental health.​

Josh meets every patient with empathy, providing clear education that empowers them to manage complex regimens, often making them feel "seen," "safe," and "in control" for the first time. A Cedarville University School of Pharmacy graduate with a PGY1 residency at the clinic, he holds eight certifications, mentors students, and shares best practices statewide as a national speaker on ethics and underserved care.​

Big smiles because of a big impact! The CHN team joined MedWish Medworks volunteers at the 2-Day Dental + Medical Clinic at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Together, we cared for 1,126 patients, a nearly 15% increase from last year. Grateful for everyone who helped make this possible and for the ongoing collaboration that is making Ohio healthier and stronger.
