It saddens us to announce the death of our friend and former physician here at Associates in Central Ohio Ob/Gyn, Dr. Susan Vagnier, who passed away over the weekend on July 11, 2021. A celebration of Dr. Vagnier’s life will be held on Friday, July 23rd from 4-7pm at Vineyard Church (6000 Cooper Rd, Westerville, OH) in the multipurpose room. Below is a link to her obituary:

Many of the rest of our office staff have received the COVID vaccine. We are doing out part and we hope you will too when offered.

Today, the physicians of ACOOG all received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. We are very grateful for the countless scientists who made this possible. We encourage everyone to continue to wear a mask, stay socially distant, and be safe this holiday season.

Dear patients of Associates in Central Ohio OB/GYN,

Due to the COVID-19 virus we are making some changes in our office procedures. If you feel your care is not urgent, and you are anxious about coming to our office, please call us or send a portal message. We can reschedule your appointment, provide a telephone visit or do both in some cases. If you feel that you need to be seen, please expect some changes in your upcoming visit.

• No visitors for any visits. You may call or facetime your support person during the visit if you choose. We realize this is difficult, but we are doing our best to prevent the spread of the virus.

• After checking in at the desk, you will be asked to return to your vehicle to wait until we are ready to place you in a room. We will call you when we are ready for you to come back to the office. We want to avoid having multiple people in our waiting room. Please bring a cell phone with you to your appointment.

• When checking in you will be asked several screening questions. If you answer yes to any of the following questions you will be contacted by one of our physicians before you are brought back to the room to be seen. We may ask that you postpone your visit. If you know that you answer any of these questions yes, consider calling our office prior to your appointment for further instruction.

o Have you traveled outside the United States in the last 14 days?
o Have you had contact with anyone with confirmed COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
o Have you had any of these symptoms in the last 14 days? If you have, we ask that you reschedule for seven days from the start of your symptoms.
 Fever greater than 100
 Difficulty breathing
 Cough
o Are you currently experiencing fever over 100, difficulty breathing or cough?

We are in this with you and we are trying to keep all of our patients, their families ourselves and our families safe. These restrictions are only temporary and we look forward to lifting these restrictions once the COVID-19 virus is not an issue.
