I trust the birth process and I trust women. With this philosophy I offer prenatal, labor/birth an

d postpartum doula support to birthing families in the Triangle. I became enchanted by birth when I was 19 living on a ranch outside of Durango,CO. It was there that I met my first homebirth family, for the first time in my life I stood before a woman who felt empowered and transformed by her experience of birth. In 2010, I attended my first doula training in Cleveland, Ohio. Moving to the Triangle in 2012, I started volunteering with the UNC Birth Partners. And it 2014 I attended a second doula training through toLabor. I attend births in various settings including hospital, birth center and home. In January 2015 I started nursing school at UNC Chapel Hill, so I am taking a short break from attending births. Cameron Goodyear Birth Services grew from a seed planted in my heart years ago. It is an honor to walk beside birthing families. Thank you to all the women who have welcomed me into their birth stories.

I became enchanted by birth when I was 19 living on a ranch outside of Durango,CO. From there I devoured the books of Ina May Gaskin, and I was hooked. In 2010, I attended my first doula training in Cleveland, Ohio. I attend births in various settings including hospital, birth center and home. In 2016, I completed my Bachelors of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After nursing school I moved to Brooklyn for a year to be with my love and worked as a Labor & Delivery nurse at one of the busiest hospitals in the City. After taking some time off to travel, my partner and I have settled back on the land in North Carolina. It is a season of returning. I am over joyed to announce that I will be attending births in the Triangle again! Cameron Goodyear Birth Services grew from a seed planted in my heart years ago.
