WHAT: Calling all Dads and Father figures. Create memories that will last a lifetime during our third annual "Black Father Daughter Dance" at COSI. Dance the night away with a Live DJ and enjoy food, fun, and music with people from all over Central Ohio.
WHEN: JUNE 14, 2025 - 7:00PM TO 10:00PM
WHERE: COSI. 333 W Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215.
COST: Tickets are $40 for a father-daughter pair, $50 for a dad and two

WHY: We often talk about the challenges facing younger children in the Black community—but do we talk enough about the tensions and complexities in relationships between parents and their adult children? How should our interactions shift as our children grow into adulthood? What does it mean to parent an adult child? How do we begin to heal broken or fractured relationships between adult children and their parents? And just as importantly: how do we break generational patterns—or create new ones—that support healthy, respectful, and loving relationships as Black parents and their adult children grow older together?

WHAT: A powerful and transformative night for Black men and boys.

WHY: Join Male Behavioral Health and Tony Porter, CEO of A CALL TO MEN and national trainer for the NFL, NBA, U.S. military, and other professional organizations, for a night of reflection, conversation, and transformation focused on healthy masculinity and gender accountability.

In this rapidly changing world, our men and boys need spaces to grow, be challenged, and be prepared for the responsibilities, pressures, and opportunities ahead. This is one of those spaces.
