I am a local Grove City mom...born and raised in this area and I have a passion for making sure that my family is healthy and happy...thus how my small home-based business got started.
My husband is a local Chiropractor and we have three sweet girls, Willow, Sage and Maple. Raising our family in the most health conscious and natural way possible is something that we try really hard to do in all areas of our life. We look at everything we put on our body, in our body and who we surround our family by! We love to grow as much of our food as possible...we read labels for toxic ingredients and we educate ourselves on healthy alternatives to ensure that we are reducing our families toxic body burden and only using the best natural remedies out there to help build strong immune systems and keep our kiddos healthy.
I began researching healthy alternatives to cough medicine and found all kinds of great information on the health benefits of Elderberry. I decided to give it a try and started making it for our family a few years ago. Whenever I had extra jars I would give them to other family members or friends of ours. One day I had made a pretty big batch unexpectedly and posted on my page that I had some available if anyone was interested...but this time I decided to charge a small fee per jar (because lets be honest...its not cheap to make). My little post left me with 30 plus orders for Elderberry Syrup in just a few hours! I was shocked...so I started making small batches weekly. I played around with my recipe until I had what I believed was the perfect combination of ingredients and flavor. I sourced all local organic ingredients and started selling my syrup locally. My little business took off and I realized there was a huge need for a local person to make and sell this wonderful syrup.
It makes my heart so happy to know that I can help not only my little family stay healthy and happy but hearing the stories coming in about how after taking my Elderberry Syrup daily other families were noticing huge differences in their kiddos health and happiness just solidified for me that I was doing this for something much greater than I even knew!
